• with white yarn and a yarn needle
• attach eye to the middle of the hat

Smile

• with a yarn needle and black yarn
• stitch a cocked smile shape to the right
• then at the top of smile make a “V” shape branching off the cocked smile
• finish off

Tongue

With pink yarn.

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st, 3 sc in last st, sc in each st up, turn

Pom Pom

• with small red pom poms, red yarn, and a yarn needle
• take red yarn and through the middle of the pom pom with the yarn needle
• then from the outside in, take the red yarn through the antenna
• repeat with the other end of the red yarn and tie the two ends together
• repeat with the other antenna
• (optional) Stuff the antennas with poly-fil (stuffing)
• attach antennas to the top of the hat with black yarn and a yarn needle
