Bulky weight yarn (5-bulky)
M/N (9.00mm) crochet hook
Fabric scissors
Yarn needle, to weave ends
Gauge
3 sc stitches x 2 rows is 1″
*Change the hook size to obtain the gauge.

Hat
Starting with black yarn,
Round 1: ch 3, 5 cluster sts in 3rd ch from hook, join in top of ch 2 (5 sts)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 cluster sts in each st around, join in top of ch 2 (10 sts)
Round 3: ch 2, 2 cluster st in next st, cluster st in next st, join in top of ch 2 (15 sts)
Round 4: ch 2, 2 cluster st in next st, cluster st in next 2 sts, join in top of ch 2 (22 sts)
Round 5: ch 2, cluster in each st around, join in top of ch 2 (22 sts)
Repeat round 5 Three more times
Round 9-18: ch 1, sc in each st around, join in first sc of round (44 sts)
Round 19: ch 1, sc in each st around, join in first sc of round, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends (44 sts)
Bow
With cream yarn,
Row 1: ch 70, sc in each st across, turn
Row 2: ch 1, sc shallow post st in each st across, turn
Repeat row 2 Two more times
Row 5: ch 1, sc in each st across, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
Bow tab
With cream yarn,
ch 15, sc in each st across, turn
Row 2: ch 1, sc shallow post st in each st across, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
- Make in bow form, take bow tab in middle of bow and hand stitch both ends of bow tab together with cream yarn and a yarn needle
- Attach bow to single crochet part of slouchy
