Ellen Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern
It uses a simple repeat of chains and double crochet stitches, so it’s easy to memorize and will work up quickly in light dk weight yarn (or use bigger yarn and make a bigger blanket if you like).
The border is worked with a pretty shell stitch, which can be done in a contrasting color or the same yarn if you’d rather.
Speaking of yarn choices, you could also make this project with stripes or use multicolored yarn to add to the fun!

how many on chain for a crib size blanket?
Mary Johnson says
I Love to crochet, but it has been a few years. I need someone to tell me how many chains, including the ones at the end to make for different
sizes of blankets. I like the one above, so how many stitches do I need to make a crib size which is 40×60″?
Thank you.
Mary
