Worsted weight yarn (4-medium)
I-9 (5.50mm) crochet hook
Fabric scissors
Yarn needle, to weave ends
Gauge
3 dc stitches x 2 rows is 1″
*Change the hook size to obtain the gauge.

- (11 sts) means how many stitches you should have at the end of the row. That count does include the chain.

Washcloth/Dishcloth
ch 35
Row 1: dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in each st, turn (34 sts)
Row 2: ch 2, dc in each st, turn (34 sts)
Repeat row 2 17 more times
Row 20: ch 2, dc in each st, do NOT cut yarn (34 sts)
Edging
Round 21: ch 1, sc evenly around, 3 sc in each corner st, join in first sc of round
Round 22: ch 1, sc evenly around, 3 sc in each corner st, join in first sc of round, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
Surface Crochet Edging
- surface crochet evenly in the sts of row 21, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
- surface crochet evenly in the sts of row 22, cut yarn fasten off, weave ends
