Worsted-4 weight yarn
- Lion Brand, Fishermen's Wool, about 45 yards
- Natural's Brown, and Oatmeal
I-9 (5.50mm) crochet hook
Fabric scissors
Yarn needle, to weave ends

Starting with CA yarn,
Ch 3
Round 1: 10 dc in 3rd chain from hook, join in first dc of round (10 dc sts)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 dc in same st as this round's ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, join in first dc of round (20 dc sts)
Round 3: ch 2, 2 dc in same st as this round's ch 2, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st* repeat * to * around, join in first dc of round (30 dc sts)
Round 4: ch 2, 2 dc in same st as this round's ch 2, dc in next 15 sts, *2 dc in next st, dc in next 13 sts* repeat * to * around, join in first dc of round (32 dc sts)

Bow
For the bow, I used this Bow Pattern with CB yarn, an I hook and a yarn needle. Once the bow is made, I attached the bow to the stripe on the hat as shown in photos using CB yarn and the yarn needle.
