Materials
Worsted weight yarn (4-medium)
I-9 (5.50mm) crochet hook
Fabric scissors
Yarn needle, to weave ends
Gauge
7 hdc stitches x 5 rows is 6″

Bib
Row 18: ch 2, hdc dec, turn, slst down tab, slst in next 10 sts, turn
Row 19: ch 2, hdc dec, hdc in next st, hdc dec using next 2 sts, turn
Row 20: ch 2, hdc dec, hdc in next st, hdc dec using next 2 sts, turn
Row 21: ch 2, hdc dec, sc around evenly, cut yarn, fasten off, weave ends
Braids
- cut 6 3″ strands of yarn
- take 3 strands of yarn together, and through the tip sides of the bib so 1 1/2″ of yarn is on each side
- knot the strands of yarn together toward the tip
- braid yarn all the way down and knot bottom of braid
